Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire in Montreal's West Island is a small, little town that is a bit sleepy. Many people who don't know the name mistakenly believe that it is the West Island extends westward from Montreal. In fact this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward from that city Lachine. The West Island is frequently referred to as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel but while that may be true, her time there was short. Brugel was a young woman in Courtice Ontario, outside Oshawa. At the beginning of her life, she wanted to be a performer but an unexpected increase in her height made it difficult. In an article that was published in The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall, even when she wears heels. When I grew out of my male partners, I quit. The Brugel is one of the former dancers that turned into acting. The teacher she had at high school was what pushed her into the right direction. The teacher was the one who advised her to audition to play the character of Anne in their annual school production. The teacher who suggested that she take on a part in the annual school production. The show led her to receive the award of a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theater Program which she graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. Her career spans 20 years and she has appeared in 60 different productions including big screen productions as well as smaller screens. The most well-known role she played was as Rita (pictured in the below photo) in the television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian part of the cast during the season 1 of the show and was not seen much.
